Operas for Babies
As an extension of The Lullaby Project, the desire to provide more musical experiences for young families led us to investigate the world of immersive music theater works, or “operas for babies.” Carnegie Hall commissioned a number of original pieces from a team led by librettist Zoë Laureen Palmer from the UK and NYC based composers Saskia Lane and Thomas Cabaniss: Otoyotoy (2017); Nooma (2019) with Emily Eagen; Camille’s Rainbow (2022); huddle (2025).
